American Suspension was founded in 1997 by Vince Costa, a former superbike racer with a background in Mechanical Engineering and aerospace. Vince's fascination with perfecting bike handling began at the challenging Sears Point raceway in the 1980s, where rough terrain tested riders' skill. Seeking a setup that performed smoothly throughout every corner, especially in the famous "carousel" turn, Vince pursued numerous experiments and patented innovations. These efforts led to the creation of American Suspension, known for its ability to make bikes responsive yet smooth over bumps—delivering unparalleled performance for riders.
